One Direction: Is Huge Reveal Happening Tonight?

Rumours about boy-band One Direction are hardly difficult to find. Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan take up thousands of column inches seemingly on a daily basis. One Direction fans seem to thrive on consuming every word or piece of speculation about their favourites. As all One Direction fans are aware, the band is now back in the UK for the final leg of the “On The Road Again” tour. The tour resumes at London’s massive O2 Arena on Thursday, but before that some very lucky fans will be able to see One Direction in a much more intimate venue this evening.

One Direction are set to play a one off gig at London’s “Roundhouse” as part of the Apple Music Festival. Tickets are free for the event and are allocated on a lottery basis. The Roundhouse has a standing capacity of just 3,300, so fans lucky enough to have received a ticket allocation will be able to get up close and personal with One Direction.

It seems that Niall Horan is just as excited as One Direction fans about the event as he took to Twitter to share how much he was looking forward to the event.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that One Direction will be supported by Little Mix this evening. Both bands are products of Simon Cowell’s X-Factor and of course former One Direction star Zayn Malik was engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards until she was unceremoniously dumped, reportedly by text message. Since then, various members of Little Mix have hit out at Malik. Many One Direction fans are still fiercely loyal to Malik so it will be interesting to see how they will be received.

Unreality TV report that tonight could well be the night that One Direction announce the release date for their fifth, as yet unnamed album. They also claim that there are rumours circulating that One Direction may sing the next single from that album for the first time tonight. It is widely believed that the boys’ new release will drop sometime in November but up to now there has only been a single peek at its content. Single release “Drag Me Down” was a global hit, but to date it is the only new material played on their tour.

If you are a One Direction fan and did not manage to score tickets for tonight’s show you can watch it via a live stream on Apple Music or on Apple TV.
