Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello Reveals New Album Is In The Works

Fifth Harmony fans, it’s been less than a year since Reflection, and Fifth Harmony is already back in the studio working on a new album. The new album will build off the buzz built around the group’s awesome single, “Worth It,” and further fill the radio waves with catchy tunes.

Fifth Harmony is in a great position to put out a new album as soon as possible. They can capitalize on fans looking to see what the group does next, and cement their position as the only major girl group out there right now.

As the Washington Post reports, Fifth Harmony is the girl group of the moment. While others are captivated by the male musical domination of One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber, along comes Fifth Harmony with the right group at the right time. If they were to release new music right now, they’d be free of female group competition. Unless Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Rihanna join forces and form a new group together, Fifth Harmony should have a clear path.

The women of Fifth Harmony are really looking forward to getting the new album out. They joined the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend, alongside artists like Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith, and many others. At the festival, they also revealed what’s coming next.

Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello told Billboard the news about the new album.

“We’ve heard some of the demos and we’re really, really excited about some of them. They’re really, really cool. I heard one the other day that I was like, that was probably my favorite song that we’re gonna record.”

Also during the festival, singer Shawn Mendes popped in on Camila Cabello’s photo shoot to cause trouble and scare her before leaning in for some photos together. The two vocalists are rumored to be dating.

Reflection has been on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for 32 weeks since being released in January of this year. Fifth Harmony were on tour all summer in the United States, and will head out to Europe in October.

They had to cancel a show at the Washington State Fair a few days ago because two of the ladies caught bronchitis. Harmonizers had to be content with performances from Iggy Azalea, Jason Derulo, and Pitbull so the girls could rest their vocal cords in preparation for future shows.

Fifth Harmony will next cross the ocean to perform in Spain, Amsterdam, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
