‘Get Off My Stage B—-h!’ Patti Labelle Kicks Stripper Fan Off Stage

Patti LaBelle, 72, was performing in a show in Vancouver on September 18 when she invited a few fans on stage. The singer’s intention was to give some of her fans the opportunity to sing and dance with her during her performance of “Lady Marmalade.”

One male fan, however, got carried away.

The fan, to Patti LaBelle’s chagrin, started stripping in front of the singer, prompting the music icon to give him an earful before she kicked him off the stage.

“Don’t you dare. Not on my stage. Didn’t I say I was 71 years younger? I am not Nicki Minaj or that little, Miley.”

But the fan, too wild for his own good, did not heed LaBelle’s warning, turned his back on her and continued to make provocative poses. Patti LaBelle was having none of his rude behavior. LaBelle gave the overzealous fan a piece of her mind as security escorted him off the stage and out of the building.

“Get off of my goddarn stage, b—h! And stay off. Put him out of the building. Put him out! How dare you!”

The crowd cheered and applauded while LaBelle kicked the fan off the stage.

Patti LaBelle later apologized for the public outburst that happened during her Friday concert.

“I’m sorry I didn’t let my security do what he felt he had to do earlier. I believe in giving second and third and fourth chances, because I always say sometimes we know not what we do. Just so rude. A rude American or whoever he is, whatever he is. Don’t ever come in my face again. Next!”

LaBelle also said that she’s a Gemini and “things come out of my mouth sometimes that I try to control.”

While it’s not everyday that Patti LaBelle kicks an unlucky fan off her stage, the celebrated singer is not one to mince words when expressing distaste.

In an interview with Threads, LaBelle said, “You know, I watched the VMAs and I was totally turned off with what I saw.”

The R&B artist said that the young pop stars who were at the VMAs should cover themselves up. “I need these young girls to put some clothes on!” she said.

Furthermore, when asked what fashion advice she has for young pop stars, she said: “I would tell them to cover up and stop showing your breasts and butts – you do not need to be naked to sell records. But I don’t know if they would listen to an older woman. I am 72 years young, but I will continue to pray for them as well as myself.”
