Vicki Gunvalson Continues To Ignore ‘RHOC’ Drama: Vicki Has Message For Kids

Vicki Gunvalson may have plenty of things to say after this week’s very dramatic Real Housewives of Orange County episode, but she is keeping her thoughts and opinions to herself. During the episode, Meghan King Edmonds questioned why Brooks Ayers hadn’t gone to the doctor, why he was traveling when he wasn’t supposed to, and why he was essentially going against all of the advice he had been given. And Gunvalson didn’t have the answers.

While Vicki Gunvalson was there to defend him during the episode, Gunvalson was rather silent on social media this week. Usually, Vicki is very vocal when it comes to defending her decisions, but she didn’t say much this week. Of course, Gunvalson is heartbroken over her split with Brooks, and Vicki could know more than she is saying.

According to a new Instagram post, Vicki Gunvalson is now breaking her silence for the first time since the episode aired, and she has a few words for her children. It sounds like Vicki wants them to know that she will bounce back from the drama and the heartbreak.

“I love you Mike and Briana,” Vicki wrote on Instagram, sharing a very touching quote which read, “When my children remember their childhood, I want only for them to remember that their mother gave it her all. She worried too much, she failed at times and she did not always get it right… but she tried her hardest to teach them about kindness, love, compassion and honesty. Even if she had to learn it from her own mistakes she loved them enough to keep going, even when things seemed hopeless, even when life knocked her down. I want them to remember me as the woman who always got back up.”

While visiting Watch What Happens Live this week, Tamra Barney revealed that Vicki had actually been dumped by Brooks. Many thought that Gunvalson had broken up with him because of the drama surrounding his cancer. Even though Gunvalson is completely heartbroken, she is trying to stay positive — and away from the drama.

“You don’t need to explain yourself to those who criticize as they are just miserable and want to make others feel just as bad as they do. I always felt you were a wonderful and caring mom who worked for everything she had for herself and her children. Sometimes every parent feels unappreciated by their kids but that is just them telling us ‘Mom, It’s time to let go and let me fly,'” one follower pointed out.

Why do you think Vicki Gunvalson is keeping her distance from the show?
