Kim Richards Will Perform ‘Hard’ Community Labor, Is She Back Up To Her Old Tricks? [Video]

Kim Richards lost her plea for easy community service this week, when she was sentenced for her public intoxication arrest September 14. Kim originally rejected the plea bargain put forth by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, claiming that “community labor” was too hard, and she wanted “community service” instead, reports Us Weekly.

According to TMZ, Richards, who was lucky to escape jail time for not only refusing to leave the Beverly Hills hotel in a drunken state but also kicking a police officer, tried to convince the judge that she couldn’t perform hard community labor because she had a foot injury.

This isn’t the first time Kim used her foot as an excuse — she didn’t show up to court last month as required, reports People, because she had injured it. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office confirmed to People that Kim was not in court, but the judge accepted her excuse.

It did not work a second time, reports TMZ, and the judge sentenced Kim Richards to 30 days community labor, which includes removing graffiti, among other strenuous jobs, and three years probation. The judge also ordered Kim to stay 100 yards away from the Beverly Hills Hotel. Kim was also ordered to attend 52 AA meetings, which, as TMZ points out, is one meeting every week for the next year.

Rumors are already surfacing that Kim is on the hunt for pain killers. TMZ reported that Richards was seen entering a Los Angeles area smoke shop, requesting to buy the popular anti-anxiety drug, Xanax. According to TMZ, the store employees were confused because the shop doesn’t sell the drug, but Kim insisted a family member told her she could score them at the store. Kim returned to the shop three separate times and was turned away. The Inquisitr has not been able to confirm these rumors.

Kim Richards was arrested last April at the Beverly Hills Hotel and charged with public intoxication after she refused to leave the hotel, reports Us Weekly. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed the story to Us Weekly when Richards was arrested, explaining, “[h]otel security requested to make a Private Persons Arrest and [Beverly Hills Police Department] officers entered the restroom and took her into custody.”

According to the LAPD, Kim Richards “was passively resisting,” and Kim was taken “into custody on a Private Person Arrest.” Kim made it worse when she kicked an officer while being booked at the Beverly Hills Police station. Kim will not appear on the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
