Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Doing Another ‘Twilight’ Movie? Duo Fuels Reunion Rumors

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be busy promoting their new films, Life and Equals, respectively, but is the former couple gearing up for a Twilight reboot in the future?

According to new reports, Pattinson and Stewart are reportedly in talks to team up for another Twilight film much to the dismay of Pattinson’s fiancée, FKA Twigs.

One tabloid report claims that Twigs “heard about the Twilight reboot and told Rob that she wouldn’t be very happy if he worked alongside Kristen again.”

The source further explains, “First [FKA Twigs] asked Rob, ‘How on earth can you work alongside someone who cheated on you?’ Then, she admitted that it would make her uncomfortable if he was on the same set as his ex-girlfriend.”

Despite the claims, rumor-busting site Gossip Cop explains that there are no plans for either Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart to return to the Twilight film franchise, noting that the speculation was merely fueled by recent comments made by both actors in regards to Twilight helping boost their careers.

The news comes just days after Pattinson opened up about his thoughts regarding a Twilight sequel, telling Elle France via Seventeen that while he would be open to the project, he did not want to discuss it.

“Why not? We’ll have to see. I preferred not to broach the subject,” Pattinson explained.

Meanwhile, Stewart recently explained to Uproxx that while she loved portraying Bella Swan in the franchise, she wouldn’t want to “keep doing it.”

“I was so genuinely, heavily entrenched in that, and not in a way that felt like an obligation. Even though after the first one, which stood alone, it lasted a long time. It’s hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it. But that doesn’t mean I want to keep doing it.”

Stewart continues, “But if other people wanted to? Yeah, sure. To be honest with you, I would be interested. I’d be kind of fascinated, but it wouldn’t emotionally affect me one way or the other.”

Similarly, Twilight producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey explain that they still keep in touch with the Twilight cast and attempt to work on a new project together.

“Every half-year we catch up and try to find something else to work on,” Godfrey explains to The Hollywood Reporter.
