Liam Payne Defends Louis Tomlinson’s Baby Mama, Slams 1D Fans
One Direction star Liam Payne has used his interview with UK gay magazine Attitude to slam One Direction fans and those who invent stories about Liam and his band-mates. Payne has a special disdain for those who started the rumors that Louis Tomlinson is not the father of Briana Jungwirth’s baby. Liam seems to be furious about the constant speculation that Jungwirth was sleeping with another man and that Tomlinson may not be the baby’s dad after all.
According to the Mirror Payne pulls no punches in his “tell-all” interview with Attitude, Liam admits that rumors “really get to him.” Liam also sets the record straight by explaining that Louis is both happy and excited at the prospect of becoming a father for the fist time.
Payne says “[Louis] is very happy about becoming a dad. But the funny thing is, there are some people out there who think that Louis getting Briana pregnant is fake.”
“That’s it’s not real; it’s a cover up. And that’s the sort of s**t that gets to me. But you have to hold your tongue and that’s fine.”
According to Her magazine Liam also hits out at those “so called” One Direction fans who insist that Payne’s band-mates Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are in fact lovers. Liam claims that the flying of rainbow flags at One Direction shows is more about the rumors than a show of support for the LGBT community.
Liam says, “[W]hen the law [on gay marriage] changed in the US there were loads of rainbow flags flying at our shows, but I think that was mainly because people think of the Louis and Harry thing, which is absolutely nuts and drives me insane.”
“It’s like when you know the ins and outs of what’s going on with people it’s just annoying when it’s so stupid.”
Some One Direction fans were less than charitable about Liam’s interview in a magazine that is primarily written for gay men. Some claim that Payne agreed to do the interview and photo-shoot for Attitude because he was recently accused of homophobia. As was reported in Inquisitr Payne was widely criticized over a comment he made during a recent One Direction show and was forced to defend himself and deny being homophobic.
This is not the first time in recent weeks that Payne has shown his annoyance at some One Direction fans. Liam recently lashed out at fans who shouted abuse at him in the street in New York City because he wouldn’t stop to sign autographs whilst being hounded by paparazzi photographers. Payne said that he was made to feel like a cornered animal.
