‘Real Housewives’ Star Brooks Ayers On Twitter: ‘No More Toxicity In My Life’

Real Housewives of Orange County star Brooks Ayers appears to have had enough of the Bravo reality series. Nearly one month after splitting from his girlfriend of four years, Real Housewives star Vicki Gunvalson, Ayers shared a couple of tweets, which seem to hint that he’s ready to move on from television and the drama that is created for the show.

On September 8, Ayers shared a meme on Twitter, which the Real Housewives star captioned, “This is exactly what I have learned to do in my life. No more toxicity in my life. #nomoremanufactureddrama #behappy.”

“There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.”

Throughout Season 10 of the Orange County-based Real Housewives franchise, Ayers’ health has been called into question. Although Ayers claims to be suffering from stage 3 Non-Hodkin’s lymphoma, his Real Housewives co-stars, mainly Meghan King Edmonds, have had their doubts due to his physical appearance and choice of treatment.

Also on September 8, Ayers shared a second meme. Below is what the Real Housewives star’s message said.

“Life is too short to waste any amount of time on wondering what other people think about you. In the first place, if they had better things going on in their lives, they wouldn’t have time to sit around and talk about you. What is important to me is not others’ opinions of me, but what’s important to me is my opinion of myself.”

The Real Housewives star also shared the message above with fans on August 21.

As episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County continue to air, Ayers is constantly questioned online about why he has not yet confirmed his diagnosis with medical records, or through a doctor. In response, Ayers has told Real Housewives fans that the series will soon show his medical records, but has been holding out on doing so in an effort to maximize ratings.

For more Brooks Ayers, tune into The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo. At this point, he is not expected to return to the show for Season 11.
