Toby Keith And Kristen Bell To Host CMT Awards

Toby Keith isn’t just a CMT award nominee in 2012, he will be hosting the 11th annual awards show on June 6 and he will be joined by actress Kristen Bell.

Speaking to PEOPLE this morning Keith said he was honored to receive the call about hosting the awards show where he has won seven trophies. This will actually be the second time Toby Keith has hosted the awards ceremony with an actress, in 2003 he hosted the show with Pamela Anderson.

Kristen Bell says she’s happy to be hosting the awards ceremony because “country music makes me happy.”

Bell will be joined in Music City by fiancé Dax Shepherd.

When asked who she was most excited to meet Kristen Bell said her co-star and Miranda Lambert who she calls her “country crush.”

The CMT Awards are sure to be a star studded night as the co-hosts are joined by performers who already include Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood who could end the end with plenty to be thankful for after being nominated for five CMT Awards.

On of the coolest parts about the CMT Awards is that fans are allowed to get in on the action and vote for their favorite performers on the CMT 2012 Music Awards website through June 4

The awards show airs live from Nashville, Tennessee on June 6 via CMT and CMT.com.
