Johnny Depp Steps Out With Amber Heard At ‘The Danish Girl’ Premiere After Months Of Not Being Seen Together
Johnny Depp, 52, showed support to his wife, Amber Heard, 29, at the 2015 Venice Film Festival for the premiere of Heard’s new movie, The Danish Girl, on Saturday.
The couple, who wed early this year, has been the subject of breakup rumors as they haven’t been out together for some time. However, their red carpet appearance at the Venice Film Festival proved that their relationship is as strong as ever, if not stronger.
At the premiere of The Danish Girl, Depp was seen having a puff of his cigar before Amber Heard grabbed him for a romantic red carpet kiss, as the Daily Mail reports. Heard was all smiles and couldn’t keep her eyes off her husband.

The pair looked stunning, with Amber wearing a printed, strapless gown with her hair up. Johnny Depp, on the other hand, donned a tuxedo with black and white shoes to match.
Amber Heard’s latest film The Danish Girl, which is already getting good reviews, is about Lili Elbe (Eddie Redmayne), one of the first people to undergo surgery for gender reassignment. In the film, Amber plays the character of ballet dancer Ools Paulson, who is a close friend of Lili Elbe’s wife, Gerda (Alicia Vikander).
Prior to The Danish Girl red carpet appearance, Amber Heard stepped out with Johnny Depp at the same film festival on Friday to support him for his latest film, Black Mass. As E! Online reports, it was the first appearance of the couple after not being seen together in almost five months.
Black Mass, which has also been getting rave reviews, tells the story of a mob boss from Boston and FBI informant James “Whitey” Bulger, played by Johnny Depp.
For the Black Mass premiere, the couple chose coordinating outfits, with amber wearing a classy, black gown with her flowing hair.
An insider talked about their relationship and the breakup rumors.
“They’ve always been together. They travel for work then come home. They live together and are very much in love, despite what’s being said about breakup rumors.”
However, the insider also revealed that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp also argue, which is quite normal for any relationship.
“They are very much in love with each other, but because of their strong personalities and opinions, they do argue a lot.”
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp met while they were filming the 2011 movie, The Rum Diary. A year later, the two were engaged and they were married early this year. This is the first marriage for Heard. Depp has two children with his previous relationship with Vanessa Paradis, who he was with for 14 years.
