Melissa Gorga And Teresa Giudice Return To ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ For Season 7 With Who?

Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice will both reportedly return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for its upcoming seventh season. While Bravo has remained silent both on the renewal of the series and its cast, a source told Entertainment Tonight on September 3 that fans can expect to see the two women, who made amends last season, continue their friendship when filming begins.

Melissa Gorga joined the Bravo reality cast during its third season as the wife of Giudice’s brother, Joe. However, at the time, her relationship with Guidice was strained. Luckily, a few seasons later, during Season 5, the two women put their differences aside and began spending more time together as a family.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Melissa Gorga and her sister-in-law will “likely” be joined by Jacqueline Laurita and “friends” Kathy Wakile and her sister, Rosie Pierri. Meanwhile, Dina Manzo will not be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and the new additions to Season 6, Amber Marchese, Nicole Napolitano, and Teresa Aprea, have not yet been asked to return.

As for the possible new additions, Melissa Gorga’s friend, Traci Johnson, wife of NFL legend Tiki Barber, has been rumored to be in talks to appear on Season 7 but is not yet officially a part of the cast. Gerald Rivera’s wife was also said to be in negations, but Entertainment Tonight reported she declined the role.

The report claimed the Season 7 cast was expected to be finalized by the end of this month, with filming scheduled to begin a short time later.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Johnson was first linked to The Real Housewives of New Jersey in March. Since then, she and Melissa Gorga have been spending tons of time together, which has only added further speculation to the report. At the time of the initial rumors, a source told E! News that Melissa Gorga’s friend was being courted by Bravo to help glam up the franchise.

“When producers approached Traci, they told her they were revamping the show. Their goal is to include more well-known names and make New Jersey look more glamorous, like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s still early in the process. They’re meeting with a lot of women and trying to determine what ensemble will work best for the show… Although Traci isn’t officially locked down yet, it looks like it’s going to happen.”

Melissa Gorga has not yet officially confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
