Will Shayne Lamas Join The Cast Of ‘RHOC’ For Season 11?
Shayne Lamas was in attendance during Tamra Barney’s adult-themed party on Monday night’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, when it comes to appearing on the show full-time, Shayne Lamas’ husband, The Dirrty founder Nik Richie, says he’s against the idea.
During an interview with Radar Online on September 2, Shayne Lamas’ husband shot down the possibility of appearing on the show full-time.
“I don’t want to be on RHOC. Partying with grandmas doesn’t sound fun to me. Plus, there has yet to be a success story from the Housewives franchise. Everyone ends up in jail or divorced trying to create drama to maintain their fame and paycheck.”
In addition, claimed Shayne Lamas’ husband, he’s witnessed firsthand how reality television can turn people into monsters by watching the fallout from Barney’s divorce from husband Simon. According to Richie, he and Barney are “really good friends,” and he saw Simon turn into a “lunatic” after they began starring on the Bravo reality show.
“Now he constantly attacks her and spreads vicious lies about her character just to stay relevant — it’s pathetic. And let’s be honest, [Shayne Lamas] and I are too authentic for RHOC. I’m actually from Orange County and reside in Coto de Caza, the birthplace of the franchise. The show has turned Hollywood and I can’t act.”
As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are certainly aware, Tamra and Simon Barney’s divorce was extremely messy, and their custody battle over their oldest daughter, Sidney, has continued years later.
In other news, as the Inquisitr perviously reported, Shayne Lamas’ husband recently dished on Barney’s C.U.T. Fitness party, which was attended by the entire cast of the show, as well as Shayne Lamas, claiming Meghan King Edmonds’ breasts were exposed to guests of the bash. Speaking to Radar Online earlier this week, Shayne Lamas’ husband recounted how Barney spiced up the party, which had started off a big lackluster, at least in the drama department.
“[Tamra Barney] was just joking around, trying to make something happen. It was a 50 Shades of Grey sex party and the Housewives were boring. Nobody was showing skin. It doesn’t matter anyway … Meghan Edmonds didn’t have any chest worth sharing.”
No word yet on whether or not Shayne Lamas will be seen in any further episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s currently airing 10th season.
