Drew Barrymore And Toni Collette – ‘Miss You Already’ In Theaters November 6

Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette star in Miss You Already, due out this year in U.S. theaters on November 6. Drew is no stranger to playing comedies and dramedies, and this one looks promising. Jess (Barrymore) and Milly (Collette) have been friends since childhood but both are devastated when Milly finds out she has cancer. Soon after this devastating news, Drew’s character learns she is pregnant and faces mixed emotions because of her friend’s situation. How can she be happy while her best friend is battling for her life? Drew and Toni show a great chemistry in the trailer below and if the trailer is any indication, tissues will be needed. Along the lines of Terms of Endearment and Steel Magnolias, Drew and Toni are set to make tear-inducing history, so be sure to stock up on tissues before you go see the movie!

This is Barrymore’s first film since she had her second daughter Frankie with Will Kopelman in 2014; her last movie was Blended with Adam Sandler. Drew and her husband also have another daughter, Olive. Drew was torn about acting again and leaving her daughters, according to Daily Mail.

“I didn’t think I could go back to work honestly. I didn’t want to be away from my kids and it just wasn’t the priority… With Adam, he makes everything really safe because he really creates an environment where kids can come and be a part of it. It was a really big lesson for me.”

On top of being a mom and actress, Barrymore also has her own cosmetics line, Flower Beauty, and is publishing her own book of essays and photos about her own life. In a recent interview with E! Barrymore spoke about Flower Beauty.

“Flower beauty is a full-time job… We do a lot of traveling for it. I do a lot of press. I go to labs all over the country, truly seeking out the most innovative things.”

Drew’s new film will first be released in the UK on September 25, and in the U.S. after making its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. This movie just might earn Drew a nomination for Best Actress/Supporting Actress. Both Collette and Barrymore are accomplished actresses and both should be in the running. Drew won’t disappoint in this film, so don’t forget your tissues!
