Khloe Kardashian Skips VMA’s, Goes On Babysitting Duty Instead

Khloe Kardashian was noticeably absent from the MTV VMA’s on Sunday night, but the reality star had a pretty good excuse. According to ABC News, Khloe Kardashian stayed behind to babysit for her sister, Kourtney, posting a tweet about having a pajama party with her nephew, Mason Disick.

While you may be thinking that Khloe should have been at the show to support her brother-in-law Kanye West, there didn’t seem to be any bad blood or a specific reason why Khloe sat this one out. In fact, she tweeted about Kanye’s big announcement shortly after the show aired.

Khloe Kardashian has attended the VMA’s in the past, which is one of the reasons that fans were surprised that she wasn’t there this year. Most of her family members were in attendance, however, and glammed up the red carpet as one big happy family.

According to People Stylewatch, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian all posed for photos together. They seemed to enjoy each other and were very proud of Kanye West as he was honored with the Video Vanguard Award.

Kris opted for a “plunging black dress with a criss-cross halter neckline.” Kourtney showed off her post-baby body in a “bright coral jumpsuit, accessorized with a pair of gold pumps,” and Kylie — who recently turned 18 — attended the event in a” gold crochet mini-dress,” clearly channeling older sister, Kim.

Speaking of Kim, she stuck by her husband’s side for most of the night. The two walked the red carpet together, but their coordinating looks were less than appealing and hardly flattering. The couple is set to welcome their second child, a son, in December.

But, despite the amount of Kardashian blood in the house, many still missed Khloe Kardashian and were hoping that she’d make an appearance. Perhaps in 2016 — Kanye is rumored to be offered the hosting spot, according to the Inquisitr — Khloe will be able to attend.
