Todrick is a new reality TV show that is set to air on MTV tonight. Todrick follows the life of Todrick Hall, a video producer and YouTube sensation, according to Broadway World. The 30-year-old YouTube great will appear in his own show, which will play out in eight half-hour episodes. Produced by Brian Graden Media, the MTV reality series stars Todrick Hall, Shawn Adeli Nicole Faulkner, and Chester Lockhard.
Credited as an actor, writer, and producer — Todrick has appeared in 2015’s Lake of Fire, Band Camp, and Cinderonce. The spitfire talent also co-wrote Platypus the Musical. In addition to acting, writing, and singing, Todrick has made appearances in the TV series Dance Moms, Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards 2014, and Hollywood Today Live.
According to his bio, many came to know him during his days on American Idol. Since that time he has made a name for himself as a choreographer, video producer, and music producer. In four words, “he does it all.” Talented in several music genres — including Pop, Gospel, R&B, as well as Country, Todrick says he enjoys making positive music about positive things. His self-produced videos are geared toward young people, and he loves to get inspiration for songs from the weirdest places. Originally from Texas, Todrick Hall set out to pursue his dreams by moving out to Los Angeles years ago, and hasn’t regretted it.
While his social media accounts boast more than a million followers on YouTube and almost 180,000 followers on Twitter, his TV show is sure to be a success. Starting tonight, MTV viewers will get an up close and personal look at Todrick’s incredible talent as a storyteller and video producer.
