Is Jennifer Garner Rethinking Ben Affleck’s ‘Bat Cave’ On Their Shared Property?
Since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their separation, they have always remained a family unit, with the intention of raising their children together. Even when reports were swirling that Affleck had cheated on Garner with their former nanny, the paparazzi grabbed photos of the family seemingly happy with their children.
The thing that struck people as “odd” or “refreshing” about this Hollywood divorce is that the two stood by their decision to raise the children together on the same property. Usually, when two people divorce, one spouse gets the house while the other finds their new abode. Sometimes both spouses move out and buy new homes. For Garner and Affleck, they decided that Jennifer would stay in their home, while Ben would build a separate house on their property so he was never too far away from their children. To be clear, Affleck isn’t even moving down the block — his house will actually be on the same acre as his old home.
Now, according to People Magazine, Jennifer Garner might be rethinking the whole living situation with Affleck.
“The exes planned the originally keep living on the same property on the LA.” A source told People,“with their main home under renovation, Jen is rethinking their living situation. Jen will always makes sure that Ben will spend as much time with the kids as he wants.”
It’s said that while Jennifer’s home was under renovation, the two would move in together in another home in Los Angeles. The home just happens to be Brooke Shields house that the couple is renting while the renovation is underway. It’s not known whether or not Garner is rethinking Ben’s man cave, or whether she’s rethinking living with Affleck again in the interim while the construction is going on.
Currently, Ben is at home in Los Angeles with their three children, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. Affleck has been going back and forth to spend family time with the kids in Atlanta, while his estranged wife films Miracles In Heaven. Affleck has been staying at a property when he’s in Atlanta.
When he took the kids back to Los Angeles, it was to get them ready for school. According to a source, the kids seemed very happy while running errands with their father.
“Ben spent the whole weekend focused on the kids. They all seemed to have a fun weekend. Ben took them on several outings and looked happy. The kids were all high energy and seemed to enjoy the outing. They were almost fighting about who should hold Ben’s hands. Ben was playing around with them and they were all laughing.”
