Will Kaitlyn Bristowe Be On Season 21 of ‘DWTS’?
Kaitlyn Bristowe’s name has been mentioned several times when it comes to options for Dancing With the Stars Season 21. Now E! Online has found out that it doesn’t look like Kaitlyn will be on the dance floor when the new season starts in September. Considering that Chris Soules did the show right after he finished The Bachelor, it would not be shocking to see Bristowe on the show. His relationship with Whitney Bischoff fell apart after they spent time focusing on the show and not their relationship, so this could be a smart move for Bristowe and new fiance Shawn Booth.
ABC is avoiding speaking out on the rumors, but a source did share that Bristowe won’t be dancing this season due to the timing just not being right. That doesn’t mean she won’t ever get on the dance floor though. Kaitlyn is interested in doing the show, just not right after she finished her time on The Bachelorette, and is just now starting her new life with Shawn Booth.
Dancing With the Stars has slowly been announcing the upcoming cast for Season 21. ABC News shared that Nick Carter is going to be on the show. This Backstreet Boys member has a bit of a dancing past, but boy bands aren’t known for their ability to do ballroom dances. Bindi Irwin and Jockey Victor Espinoza have also been confirmed as contestants on the upcoming season.
Right after The Bachelorette ended, Kaitlyn Bristowe shared that she thinks if she did DWTS she might win the show. She realized that might be jinxing herself, but Kaitlyn is pretty confident about her abilities on the dance floor. This would be the perfect reason for Bristowe to show up on a future season, but she won’t be on Season 21.
There is some talk about one of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s suitors landing a spot on the show though. Casting director Deena Katz did admit to liking Nick Viall and admitted that a season with him and Kaitlyn both on it would be too much drama. That could just end up meaning that they will get him this season and Bristowe will join in the future. Nick did not get cast as The Bachelor for the upcoming season, so it is highly likely that he has some time on his hands if the show was to call him.
