Kelis Pregnant? Singer Debuts Baby Bump At Brooklyn Festival
Kelis has sparked rumors that she is pregnant after she performed at Brooklyn’s Afro Park festival over the weekend, where she debuted what appeared to be a baby bump.
The 35-year-old singer, who also celebrated her birthday on Friday, already has a son, named Knight, with rapper Nas, and it looks as though a brother or sister will soon be joining the 6-year-old.
You can check out an array of images that sparked this speculation below.

After Kelis performed at the festival, various reports from the likes of Global Grind, Philly, and All Hip Hop then emerged that alleged she was pregnant. However, the singer neither confirmed or denied these accusations while on stage.
Kelis has been out of the public eye for several months now, and it’s now believed that during this hiatus, she has become pregnant. Since splitting from Nasir Jones in April, 2009 (they ultimately divorced in May, 2010), Kelis hasn’t been romantically linked to many other suitors.
But just last month, after her first cookbook, My Life On A Plate, was released, a man named Michael Mora took to Instagram to praise her and even referred to her as his wife. He wrote, “Today is a big day… My wife’s first cookbook is available for preorder on AMAZON! For those who know me you know I have been eating extremely delicious food since Kelis and I got together.”
Kelis, who is mostly recognised for her hit single, “Milkshake,” performed at the AfroPunk festival, which took place at Flushing Avenue on Saturday, August 22, 2015, appearing alongside Lenny Kravitz, Gary Clark, Jr., Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, and Death Grips.
Kelis originally gained notoriety thanks to her 1999 debut album, Kaleidoscope. This was then followed by 2001’s Wanderland, 2003’s Tasty, and 2006’s Kelis Was Here. She then took a hiatus from music for several years, but she came back with 2010’s Flesh Tone and 2014’s Food. Because of her success, she has received 12 award nominations, four of which she has won.
