‘Supernatural’ Star Misha Collins ‘Totally Fine’ After Being Beaten And Robbed

Misha Collins joined the rest of the Supernatural cast in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for a Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Convention this weekend, just as Misha has done many times over. As many have already heard, this weekend was different for the mugging that took place as Collins was leaving a local restaurant, after having dinner.

Another familiar face from the Supernatural cast, Jim Beaver, known to most as Uncle Bobby, reported that Misha was attacked by three men, who had beaten and robbed Collins.

“My buddy and Supernatural colleague Misha Collins was followed out of a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men last night and beaten and robbed,” Beaver stated. “He’s all right, more or less, with some stitches and a fat lip.”

The post regarding Collins’ mugging was posted by Beaver on his Facebook wall, but was soon deleted by the Supernatural star, according to E! News.

“He’s going on with his photo ops at the Supernatural convention he’s attending this weekend…I hope this clears things up a bit for those who’ve been inquiring,” added Supernatural’s Jim Beaver.

Oddly, Misha Collins made no mention of his mugging in his social media posts and only went so far as to thank fans for their well wishes and encouragement.

“Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes!” Misha tweeted Saturday afternoon. “Just want u to know I’ve just got some minor scrapes. I’m totally fine! Love u guys.”

Although Collins assured fans that the injuries resulting from the mugging were minor, Entertainment Tonight reports that Misha missed his scheduled appearance on the Supernatural panel for the day. There is no reason to expect Misha Collins to miss any further appearances related to the incident, since the Supernatural star did make it back to the convention later in the evening.

Collins spent the night posing with Supernatural fans for photographs and signing autographs.

Since news of the mugging broke, Supernatural fans have been tweeting messages of support with the #WeLoveYouMisha hashtag, which was trending on Twitter for much of the afternoon.

“#WeLoveYouMisha for giving and giving even when people have taken from you. We appreciate all that you do for us,” tweeted one Supernatural fan.

“The sweetest, kindest, most giving person who deserved nothing that happened to him yesterday #WeLoveYouMisha,” was tweeted by another one of Collins’ fans.

The season 11 premiere of Supernatural will air on Wednesday, October 7, on the CW network.
