‘Suicide Squad’ Spoilers: From ‘Batman V Superman’ Stars To Arkham Asylum Residents — Who Is Making Cameos?

One of the biggest questions remaining for the upcoming Suicide Squad film surrounds which comic book characters will be making cameo appearances. With that in mind, director David Ayer recently shared a Twitter message that indicates Arkham Asylum will play a large role in the new movie.

The new image features a script for the film inside a cover that includes an Arkham Asylum label. With the likelihood being fairly strong that the institution will be included in the film, it may indicate that a number of different villains could be making a short appearance in the film.

After all, Arkham is the place where most of Batman’s foes have gone after being defeated, so it stands to reason that a good amount of Batman’s old enemies will crop up here and there in the upcoming movie. If this is the case, then fans could see some glimpses of the likes of The Riddler, The Penguin, and maybe even Killer Croc.

Speaking of Killer Croc, Cinema Blend is reporting that the character will indeed be making a small showing in the movie, and will be played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Apparently, Killer Croc will be seen inside the confines of a cage. Additionally, the character might also have another scene at the end of the film with Will Smith’s Deadshot, though nothing has been officially confirmed.

Meanwhile, with all the talk about Arkham and cameo appearances, it is still isn’t known for sure if Batman, played by Ben Affleck, will be included as part of the film. A few months back, while Affleck was still working on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans spotted him in Toronto, where Suicide Squad was still filming.

Fans also posted photos on Instagram which appeared to show Affleck’s stunt double in his Caped Crusader costume filming a scene on top of a car driven by Jared Leto’s Joker with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn riding shotgun.

To add further credibility that Batman will be making an appearance in Suicide Squad, fans have spotted the newest version of the Batmobile on the streets of Toronto, where crew members have been filming for Suicide Squad. The images, which were posted to a number of Instagram accounts, show multiple shots of Batman’s vehicle roaming through the streets.

Suicide Squad, which is set to hit theaters on August 5, 2016, features a number of different Hollywood stars, including Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
