Megan Fox Split From Brian Green After 11 Years & 2 Sons: ‘Transformers’ Star Calls Herself Bisexual [Photos]

Megan Fox has split from husband Brian Austin Green. Although Megan and Brian were married for five years and together for more than a decade, Transformers star Fox and Green have chosen to spend time apart without initially announcing divorce plans, reported People.

However, an insider emphasized that Megan’s and Brian’s devotion to their two children and their love for each other remain strong, despite the decision to separate.

“[Fox and Green] will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they’ve decided it’s best to take some time apart,” clarified the source.

Although news of the split comes only now, Megan and Brian had been apart for weeks. No public sightings have occurred of Fox, 29, and Green, 42, as a couple recently.

The split requires Megan and Brian to determine how best to parent their two sons. Bodhi Ransom is 18-months-old, while Noah Shannon is 2 and a half. In addition, Green has a 13-year-old son, Kassius, whose mother is Vanessa Marcil.

Megan and Brian had a rocky engagement period. Fox was starring in Hope & Faith when she met Green on her show in 2004. Brian proposed to Megan in 2006.

Fox and Green split in 2009 before they could progress from being engaged to getting married. However, Megan and Brian then had a short engagement of less than a month in 2010, after which they married in Hawaii.

Transformers star Fox recently admitted that relationships are challenging in a pre-split interview with Men’s Health.

Megan reflected that she’s learned after getting married that life won’t always be perfect when two people try to share their lives.

“You will go through phases where you’re just not getting along. You’re not communicating well. That’s going to happen,” Fox admitted.

But she said at the time that she feels arguments are part of life and part of all relationships, and that patience is essential.

“You’re going to have these conflicts with anyone,” added Megan of the challenge in communicating with others.

Fox, however, described Brian as her soulmate. Prior to the split, she emphasized her desire to work through any problems.

“Brian is my soulmate [and] that makes it easier for me to work through things,” declared Megan.

Fox also revealed that she feels men need to learn to be sensitive, gentle, and kind rather than try to maintain a tough guy exterior. Megan recommends that they explore their feelings.

As the Inquisitr reported, Fox previously revealed that she is bisexual.

But Megan clarified that she does not want to date women who are bisexual, reported Pink News.

“I have no question in my mind about being bisexual,” said Fox. “I would never date a girl who was bisexual… I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”
