Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green Split: What Caused Their Impending Divorce?

People were shocked to find out that Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox split after 11 years together. Now, fans are starting to ask what caused the seemingly happily married couple to split?

Well, according to People magazine several issues might have contributed to their impending divorce. Megan Fox was captured without her wedding ring in December of 2014. Just before that sighting, she and her husband Brian Austin Green, were involved in a car accident. They were hit by a drunk driver while driving around in Los Angeles.
The second time Megan was spotted without her wedding ring was during the premiere in February. The actress hit the red carpet, attending the Ninja Turtles premiere.

While their car accident was definitely a dramatic mark on their relationship, a lack of a sex life could be the reason to blame for their split. Fox told Entertainment Tonight that Green wasn’t getting anything from her at the time. “Brian doesn’t get any intimacy whatsoever.”

She explained while on The View, saying, “My [2-year-old son Noah] sleeps in bed with us, so there’s really no way.”

Her appearance on The View was an interesting one in terms of Fox being candid. She didn’t exactly sound like someone who was happily married, especially when the subject of having more kids came up. According to the actress, she said he wants more kids only because, “he doesn’t have to do any of the work.”

Although the couple remained quiet as a couple, and for the most part were very low key parents, Megan did open up about her marriage to Brian in the 2013 issue of Marie Claire UK. At the time, the starlette said that they are “very, very different” in terms of their personalities.

“We are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don’t try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him.”

The couple share two children with each other, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 1 year.

As far as their split goes, according to Us Weekly a source, the two plan are, “on friendly terms for the sake of the kids. They just want to do their own things.”

A source also told People, “They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they’ve decided it’s best to take some time apart.”
