Dorinda Medley On ‘RHONY’ Friendships: ‘A Lot Of Issues Came Up’

Dorinda Medley is gearing up for her first reunion, which airs on Bravo tonight. This new Real Housewives of New York star admits that the season has been dramatic, and that many issues have been brought up during their time together. Of course, Medley joined the show with her long-time boyfriend, John, and her daughter. Dorinda just wanted to have fun, but it was a rough road for her.

Dorinda Medley admits that it was tough to film the show, because emotions came to the surface about the past. Of course, Dorinda lost her husband, and she opened up about the struggle while in London with Carole Radziwill. But Medley also admitted that she thought some of the fights were petty.

According to a new Bravo report, Dorinda Medley admits that the ladies did fight on this season of the show, but that it is all about resolution at the end of the day. As Ramona Singer revealed, all of the ladies went for dinner after filming the reunion together.

“There’s a lot of things that went on this year and this season and a lot of issues came up, but it was all about the resolution,” Dorinda Medley revealed, adding, “These are girls that are grown-ups, they’re wives, they’re working women, they’re public figures. They know that there’s conflict and conflict is OK. It’s all about the resolution.”

Of course, the Real Housewives women tend to get catty, and Dorinda thinks that the image is completely wrong. Sure, a few dirty drinks will get the emotions flying, and she admits drinking a bit too much throughout the season, but Medley admits that the ladies are quite alright.

“I think we’re stand-up girls; we’re not a bunch of catty, horrible women,” Dorinda revealed, adding, “We’re actually stand-up women. We ultimately really like each other and respect each other. We don’t have to be the same, or be the best of friends, but we’re actually friends.”

The reunion will air tonight on Bravo, and Dorinda’s trip to London may be a topic of discussion. According to the Inquisitr, Medley went to London with Carole Radziwill to pick up Carole’s late husband’s ashes. But the three-part reunion will surely cover lots of topics.

“I think you’ll have to see that. All the stuff from the Turks and Caicos came out,” Medley hinted, concluding, “But again, it’s nothing you’ll be surprised about. Again, it’s about the resolution. And I love that, I love that about these girls.”
