‘Real Housewives’ Sonja Morgan Trying To Stay Relevant By Picking Toaster Oven Fight

Anyone who watched last week’s finale of The Real Housewives of New York is scratching their head, trying to figure out why Sonja Morgan is still ranting about Kristen Taekman and the toaster oven that never was.

On the finale, instead of basking in the success that finally was her fashion show, Morgan decided to make it ugly and attack one of the few people who was truly happy for her success. And Kristen Taekman knows what she is talking about, because she was a former model.

Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Sonja Morgan is ranting that any friendship she had with Kristen Taekman is over because of a perceived slight over her failed toaster oven project.

Now Taekman is understandably ticked off at Morgan using her as a punching bag for no good reason, especially after Morgan finally admitted that she hadn’t even read the article she was ranting about, but rather, “heard about it from one of her interns.”

Reality Tea is reporting that Taekman was flabbergasted that Morgan was in such a huff about something so silly.

“Since when is Sonja Morgan’s toaster oven such a huge taboo subject? Did I miss something? Send out a press release if you’re that sensitive about the topic.”

Taekman also made the point that over two season, Morgan wanted only to talk about her toaster oven project, and even sought the input of several of the RHONY, but never told anyone that the project had totally fizzled.

Sonja Morgan took an attack to a new level of crazy, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

“Sonja is off – off her rocker that is! She ripped the mother of two to pieces, ranting and raving that Kristen didn’t care about her, doesn’t care about her future, her career, her jewelry line, nothing. Keep in mind, not one of the other Real Housewives of New York City had actually seen the luxury lifestyle clothing or jewelry at that point.”

According to Bustle, Sonja Morgan also seemed envious that Taekman, who won’t be returning to Real Housewives of New York, was asked about her “Pop of Color” nail polish brand that was featured during Fashion Week while at Morgan’s off-site fashion event. Perhaps the New York Post wanted to talk about a brand that had actually made it to market? Who knows, but Kristen Takeman is obviously over being a Real Housewives piñata.
