‘Kill Bill 3’ Could Be Happening Soon With Uma Thurman Already On Board

Kill Bill 3 could soon be coming to cinema screens near you, according to reports emerging in online media.

Quentin Tarantino, who is currently busy with the promotion of his latest movie The Hateful Eight, delighted fans recently when he announced that Kill Bill 3 is a movie he could get back to. The first and second volumes of Kill Bill came out in 2003 and 2004, and now 11 years later, Tarantino appears keen to update the story. The previous films starred Uma Thurman as The Bride — or Beatrix — who goes on a quest against her lover Bill and assassin Elle who was sent to kill her.

According to Nerdcore Movement, Tarantino, who has lately been channeling his sharp wit into making subversive Westerns, refused to rule out Kill Bill 3 during Comic-Con this year.

“We’ll see. Never say never. We’ll see when it comes to Kill Bill 3. Uma (Thurman) would really like to do it, we talk about it every once in a while.”

Catch up on the ending of Kill Bill 2 here.

Metro reports that Kill Bill 3 could revolve around the daughter of assassin Vernita Green, whom Thurman’s character kills in Volume One. Tarantino suggested the third part could be about Green’s daughter trying to avenge the murder of her mother.

“We’ve got to wait for Vernita’s daughter to get old enough to go and kill her.”

Fans, on the other hand, have other ideas.

Now that sounds truly exciting!

However, before we get too carried away by the news, we must remind ourselves that though Kill Bill 3 remains in the cards, it will only materialize when Tarantino finishes with The Hateful Eight. The western movie, starring favorites Samuel L. Jackson, Christopher Waltz, and Kurt Russell, among others, is the story of eight westerners who seek refuge in a stagecoach stopover to protect themselves from a blizzard.

The trailer of the movie was released this week and has already received rave reviews for Tarantino’s trademark dialogue and visual style. You can watch it here.

So what do you think about the latest rumors surrounding Kill Bill 3? Do you think it will come to fruition? Would you like to see Uma Thurman don the role of Beatrix one more time? Let us know your suggestions.
