Christina Aguilera is a weight loss wow. The Voice coach flaunted her post-baby body for her fans with a selfie that left little to the imagination. Aguilera credits her slim-down to a low-carb diet and yoga.
And Christina promised to share more personal details in the future to her devoted fans, reported MSN.
Aguilera used Instagram to display her assets. And as The Voice coach showed, Christina has succeeded in whittling her waistline and toning her body following the birth of her baby girl Summer Rain a year ago.
“Just so you know with me, it’s all real, all the time. Felt like it was time to start sharing some personal stuff with you guys,” wrote Christina.
Aguilera chose pink lingerie and a leopard printed topper for the selfie, and also posted a quote about bravery.
“And it’s just the beginning,” promised Christina.
Aguilera shed her post-pregnancy weight by continuing her yoga passion, which she also did during her second pregnancy, reported E News.
The mom of Max and Summer Rain is taking private yoga sessions, said an insider.
“Christina was very healthy throughout her pregnancy and is continuing it now after the baby,” revealed the source.
“She is very dedicated to yoga. So much that she has never stopped practicing it. She did yoga the entire time she was pregnant. And Christina has already been working hard on getting her bod back in shape! She is doing private yoga sessions and loves how it makes her feel.”
In addition to boosting her weight loss, Aguilera feels that yoga calms her and helps her focus.
“[Christina] loves the way it makes her look and feel, inside and out. It’s so calming and keeps her centered. She is obsessed!” added the insider.
As for diet, Aguilera believes in moderation and clean eating.
“[She’s] eating clean and watching her portions. Everything is about moderation. She will have cheat meals occasionally too. Running after Max also is helping her burn some extra calories. There’s never a quiet moment, Max is very active!”
As the Inquisitr reported, Christina follows a low-carb diet.
Aguilera eats protein, healthy fats, and lots of vegetables, with limited fruit. For example, breakfast combines avocado for a fat serving, turkey bacon for protein, and blueberries. Snacks consist of almond butter spread on celery or shrimp.
For dinner, Christina often enjoys chicken or fish with vegetables. And when she splurges, Xtina allows herself a glass of wine.
