‘Teen Mom OG’ Season Six Coming Soon [Report]
Teen Mom OG Season Six is reportedly in the works. Following a couple of photo hints by cast members, including Catelynn Lowell and Farrah Abraham, the Christian Post has reported there’s “more drama to come” in the soon-to-be-announced Teen Mom OG Season Six.
According to the August 12 report, news of the renewal of Teen Mom OG Season Six will come as a surprise to most, as the fifth season was meant to be an encore season for the series, which initially ended in 2012.
In July, the possible renewal of Teen Mom OG Season Six was first announced by Radar Online. At the time, the site claimed the cast, including Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, and Amber Portwood had already begun filming Teen Mom OG Season Six.
“The girls are already filming [Teen Mom OG Season Six]. The cameras arrived a couple of weeks ago.”
While Radar Online couldn’t reveal exactly what would be seen during Teen Mom OG Season Six, as filming had only just begun, they did note that Bookout and her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, had just welcomed their first child, Jayde Carter McKinney, and Lowell and her fiance, Tyler Baltierra, were planning to wed in just a few weeks. Also planning to walk down the aisle in the next year are Portwood and Matthew Baier, who fans saw get engaged during the previous season.
Meanwhile, Abraham, who is reportedly also returning to Teen Mom OG Season Six, is fresh off a split from Simon Saran. Last year, while filming, Abraham and Saran were talking about a potential engagement, but sadly, they split just weeks after filming was complete.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Portwood claimed her Teen Mom OG co-stars would be involved in her upcoming wedding to Baier, which may or may not be featured on Teen Mom OG Season Six. During an interview with MTV News earlier this year, Portwood spoke of her dream wedding — and who would be included.
“My dream wedding, I know for sure, my cousin Krystal would be the maid of honor at the wedding because she’s the closest person to me. She’s like my best friend. And of course I want all the Teen Moms, all the girls, I want them to be my bridesmaids. I mean, they have to be a part of it.”
A premiere date has not yet been set for Teen Mom OG Season Six.
