Rosie Perez Quits ‘The View’: ‘Kiss My A**!’ Over Being Mad At Kelly Osbourne’s Comments About Latinos Cleaning Donald Trump’s Toilets
The comments made by Donald Trump have had a ripple effect. That’s not counting the time his lawyer Michael Cohen threatened a Daily Beast writer, nor the time Trump said Jeb Bush has to like Mexicans because he’s married to one, as reported by the Inquisitr. No — this fallout affects Rosie Perez, Kelly Osbourne and the ladies of The View, who were discussing “The Donald’s” insulting comments about Mexicans being rapists when Kelly made an unfortunate comment about Trump needing Latinos to clean his toilets.
‘If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?’

After Kelly’s shocking comments about who would clean Trump’s toilets if he sent all the Latinos away sparked a nerve. Rosie was clearly uncomfortable, with Osbourne quickly trying to backpedal and clear up her statement.
“I didn’t mean it like that. Come on!”
The View panel then set the record straight that toilet-cleaning wasn’t the only job that Latinos were equipped to perform. Kelly got on Facebook and partially blamed Rosie for interrupting her during her controversial statements.
“I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f***** up today. I don’t want to b******* anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own f****** toilets.”
As reported by the Daily Mail, Perez then got into a tangle with ABC executives, after being forced to say Rosie was sorry for being mad at Kelly’s faux pas. In the following video, Rosie can be seen twice apologizing to Osbourne, and in the second apology, Rosie has her arm around Kelly — who feigns ignorance when Perez apologizes to her once more.
“I apologize to you, Kelly, because I am Latino and I’m just very sensitive when it comes to that issue. I was so offended by what [Trump] said…Osbourne is on our side and my disdain should go towards Donald.”

After those forced apologies, Rosie bowed out of her final appearance on The View, not showing up for the two previously scheduled final live shows. According to the Daily Mail, Perez was still heated about being made to say she was the one who got too angry over Kelly’s offensive comments. As a result, Rosie skipped out on a few The View tapings that were pre-taped, along with the two live shows.
Kelly, 30, received two mea culpas from Rosie on the Aug. 4 episode of The View, calling herself overly sensitive. Apparently that was two apologies too many for Perez.
