Charlize Theron Introduces Son Jackson
It’s been nearly two months since Charlize Theron, 36, announced that she adopted son Jackson. Since then she’s done her best to keep the little guy out of the public eye, being very hush hush about life with her son.
Now that’s all changed with pictures emerging of mother and son for the first time. The actress was snapped through the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France this Tuesday, and this time she had her son with her.
A source told Us Weekly about Charlize’s need for children back in March when the actress first announced the adoption,”She is glad to be able to do it on her own now and is so happy to be a mom.”
Theron’s talk with Vogue UK for May’s issue is the only time she has fully opened up about her son Jackson, gushing to the magazine that he’s “incredible” and “the coolest kid ever.” The Young Adult actress went on to say, “I’ve always known I wanted a family. I don’t think my mom could wait anymore!”
Charlize also opened up about the hopes she has for her relationship with her son, Jackson, saying that she hopes it emulates her relationship with her mother. Telling the magazine, “[I hope] to be like my mom. Fair, tough, loving and supportive. My mom has made it possible for me to be who I am. Our family is everything,” she added “Her greatest skill was encouraging me to find my own person and own independence.”
Recently Charlize Theron has been linked to Alexander Skarsgard, but before that she was in a nine-year relationship with her partner Stuart Townsend before they split in 2010.
