Texas Father Catches Man Having Intercourse With His 13-Year-Old Daughter, Definitely Doesn’t End Well

A Texas father recently walked in on a horrific scene he probably wouldn’t have envisioned in his worst nightmare. According to KXAN, the father reportedly caught a man performing a sexual act on his 13-year-old daughter. The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Deandry Drevon Gault, was found inside the girl’s room when the father woke to check the house around 4:30 in the morning. It has been reported that the girl’s mother contacted local authorities to report the incident on July 14.

Gault reportedly managed to flee the home, but there was just one problem – he left his clothes and car keys. After he came to the shocking realization, he actually returned to the home wrapped in a blanket to request his belongings and ask that they refrain from calling the police. But of course, her parents refused to let him off the hook so easily. The couple questioned Gault and demanded to know further details about his apparent relationship with their daughter.

He reportedly stated that he met the girl at a college party that took place inside a University of Houston dorm room and that the girl claimed to be 18-years-old. They began corresponding via text message and social media. Of course, the girl’s parents contacted the police and Gault was arrested. Further investigation revealed that the girl had been using her mother’s cell phone to communicate with him via text message and SnapChat. However, they both had two different accounts regarding the truth about her age.

Apparently, Gault insists he was never informed that she was only 13-years-old, but she argues that she did tell him the truth. When investigators demanded to see Gault’s phone to support his claim, he reportedly refused, which leads authorities to believe that he may have been well aware of her age, according to Opposing Views, but speculation has not yet been confirmed.

“Either way it goes, I’m going to jail, so I’d rather just go to jail,” he said, reports KXAN.

Gault has been charged with aggravated sexual assault. In the state of Texas, the first-degree felony charge carries the possibility of approximately five to 99 years in prison.
