8 Found Dead Inside Harris County, Texas Home, Suspect Surrenders [Breaking]

News broke out that eight people were found dead inside a Harris County home in Texas. According to investigators, via ABC 13, the grisly scene was discovered during a welfare check at the home at 9:30 p.m.

When the officers arrived at the home located in Fallbrook at Veterans Memorial, they determined that a man who resides there has warrants out for his arrest. The body of a juvenile, who appeared to be dead, was also seen through a window, as reported by ABC 13.

An active shooter was reported at 11 p.m. CT, and a SWAT team was dispatched to the scene. The standoff lasted until 12:30 a.m., and the unnamed man eventually surrendered to the authorities, KHOU reports.

Upon entering the home, eight dead bodies were discovered — three adults and five kids. As of writing, the suspect’s relation to the eight victims is not yet known, and a probable cause of death for the eight victims has not been released. An investigation is still ongoing.
