Corey Simms Speaks Out About ‘Teen Mom 2’ Editing: ‘MTV Confused’

Corey Simms claims MTV was a bit “confused” when they edited the latest episode of Teen Mom 2. On the show, one particular scene featured Corey Simms in a house, but while MTV claimed it was his house, it was actually someone else’s. On Twitter, Corey Simms set the record straight with fans.

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, have been married for just over two years and have starred on the MTV series for the majority of their relationship. However, according to reports, Corey Simms’ time on the show may be coming to end after Season 6. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Corey Simms has reportedly quit the show due to his ongoing drama with his ex-wife, Leah Messer.

Corey Simms was married to Messer from 2010 to 2011 when she admitted to cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd. Since then, the two reality stars have been at odds over custody, and the battle for full custody of their 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, has been featured on Teen Mom 2 Season 6.

At the end of last month, a source revealed the following details to Life & Style regarding Corey Simms’ possible exit.

“[Corey Simms] is done with the show. He’s told MTV he will not return for another season. He doesn’t think the money is worth the aggravation anymore.”

In addition to Corey Simms’ rumored exit, Messer’s second husband, Jeremy Calvert, who claimed she cheated on him in October 2014 and filed for divorce the following month, is also said to be considering following in Simms’ lead.

“Jeremy also wants out of Teen Mom, but he hasn’t made any formal moves yet.”

Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert used to be at odds on Teen Mom 2, but in the months since Calvert and Messer split, they have grown close. In fact, during a recent trip to Los Angeles to film the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 reunion, Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, enjoyed a double date with Calvert and his new girlfriend, Brooke Wehr. On Twitter, Corey Simms shared a photo of the date, but after it faced backlash from Leah Messer’s fans, he removed it from his feed but later told fans he had simply had enough.
