Jill Dillard Was Part Of Meredith Grace Duggar’s Birth, Thanks To FaceTime [Photo]

The Duggar family has been through a number of changes since TLC cancelled their reality television series, 19 Kids and Counting. However, not all the changes have been bad. The Duggar family welcomed a new granddaughter named Meredith Grace Duggar on July 19. Just a few months before Anna Duggar gave birth to baby Meredith, Jill Dillard announced that she would be moving out of the country to pursue missionary work along with her husband and newborn son, Israel. Therefore, many Duggar fans assumed Jill would not have a part in Anna’s birth. However, it appears that those assumptions were false. Jill Dillard was able to be a part of Anna Duggar’s birth thanks to FaceTime.

The Derick and Jill Dillard Fans page on Facebook shared a sweet photo of Jill and Derick Dillard FaceTiming with newborn Meredith Grace Duggar. The photo was captions #ThrowbackThursday noting that Jill was there for Meredith’s birth all the way from Central America.

“Throwback to three weeks ago today when Meredith was born! So glad Jill was able to FaceTime and “be there” for Meredith’s birth all the way from Central America! Love you Aunt Jill & Uncle Derick!!!#ThrowbackThursday-Anna Duggar”

In other news, Jill and Derick have announced they will be returning to the United States in October after completing a Spanish language course this month. Jill says she has been working hard to learn Spanish so that she can speak to people in Central America in their native language so a language course makes sense. The Dillards say they will be returning to the missionary field after a brief visit to the states in October but did not disclose the exact details of the ministry they will be working with upon return.
