The Duggar family welcomed a new member to the family this morning as it was announced that Anna Duggar gave birth to a baby girl named Meredith Grace Duggar. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar released the big news via their YouTube channel and Michelle's official blog. According to the Duggars, Anna gave birth July 19, 2015, to the couple's fourth child.
In the video announcement, Michelle notes that baby Meredith Grace Duggar weighed in at seven pounds and 14 ounces. Michelle also goes on to say that Anna and baby are doing well. In fact, Michelle says that this was Anna's "best labor yet." Therefore, it seems that all went smoothly for Anna during labor despite carrying baby Meredith past her due date. While Anna and Josh were getting familiar with their new baby, it seems that the Duggar grandparents were taking care of the Josh and Anna's older kids. Marcus even made a surprise appearance in the video to show his excitement for the new baby.
Though Anna Duggar's pregnancy and labor went smoothly, the family will have some adjusting to do. In addition to a new member in the growing family, Josh and Anna recently moved back to Arkansas after Josh Duggar left his position with the Family Research Council following the molestation revelations. With their feet back in Arkansas and a new baby in tow, it seems the Duggar family is back to normal and says they will be updating fans on the family's progress through the Duggar family blog and YouTube channel since TLC dropped their hit reality series 19 Kids and Counting.
