LeAnn Edmonds Death: ‘RHOC’ Jim Edmonds Breaks Silence

LeAnn Edmonds’ death rocked her family last week, and this week, following statements by his current wife, Meghan, and daughter, Haley, Jim Edmonds spoke out.

LeAnn Edmonds was the first wife of MLB star Jim Edmonds, and the mother of his children.

As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County saw on the show, LeAnn Edmonds had been battling cancer in the years leading up to her July 22 death. Meghan King Edmonds, who joined the series for Season 10, has chronicled her death both on the show and in her blog for the last couple of months.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, LeAnn Edmonds’ death was announced on Instagram by 17-year-old Haley Edmonds, who has been seen on The Real Housewives of Orange County alongside her mother and step-mother. In a heartbreaking post, Haley opened up about the loss of her mother, as well as the time they’ve spent together.

“Early this morning I lost the most important person in my life,” the child wrote. “I’m so blessed to have had these past 17 years with you. But that will never be enough for me. I can’t imagine my life without you and I never imagined this day would come.”

“You were an inspiration to everyone who knew you and I will aspire to be everything you were. You truly lived life to the fullest and were such a fighter. The memories we made will forever be instilled in me and I’ll never forget the good times we had.”

Throughout the 10th season of the Bravo reality show, LeAnn Edmonds has been portrayed as a close friend of new housewife Meghan. Although Meghan is the new wife of Jim (they wed in 2014), she and LeAnn Edmonds always got along, and together they co-parented Haley, whose father is often out of town for work with the MLB.

No word yet on whether or not LeAnn Edmonds will appear on any further episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s 10th season. The series airs on Bravo on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
