Reality Star Leah Messer Wants Someone To Get A Backbone: Message To Ex-Husband Corey Simms?

Reality star Leah Messer appears to be sending a message to her ex-husand, Corey Simms, on Twitter. Although she didn’t send her latest tweet directly to her fellow reality star, the father of her 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, Messer may feel that Simms is being controlled by his new wife, Miranda.

On July 28, the reality star shared the following re-tweet with her followers on Twitter.

Since Simms filed for full custody of his twins with the reality star, Messer has claimed his advances are being led by his wife — not him. However, on scenes from Teen Mom 2, that doesn’t appear to be the case. While the Simms family is quite close, Simms’ main concern appears to lie in Messer’s recent parenting choices, as opposed to any no-existent claims being made by his wife.

In fact, the only person who has been proven to have an influence on Simms’ latest concerns about the reality star is their daughter, Aleeah, who recently revealed to him that she actually makes her own breakfast in the morning because her mother, Messer, is such a “sleepy head,” and can’t see to drag herself out of bed to do so herself.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the reality star and her ex-husband came to blows during Thursday night’s episode of Teen Mom 2. In a sneak peek at the upcoming episode, via Starcasm, Simms confronts the reality star about their daughter’s use of a toaster.

“I was a sick a couple weekends ago and eating toast, and Aleeah’s like, ‘Oh I know how to make a toast.’ I’m like, ‘How the hell do you know how to make a toast? How do you even know how to use a toaster?’ This is what she said. She said, ‘Cause my mommy’s a sleepy head, and I have to make myself breakfast.’ Whenever your child says that, and she can show you how to make toast in a toaster to back up what she said, that’s hard!”

“If I have them for that extra little bit, that’s an extra little bit that I don’t have to worry about it,” Simms continued to the reality star in regard to a possible change in their custody agreement. “I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, but that’s time that I don’t have to worry: ‘Are they tardy?’ or ‘Are they late?’ Or ‘Are they there, or are they not?’ ”
