The Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer has been making headlines quite a bit over the past couple of days thanks to her new memoir, Life On The Ramona Coaster.
In the book, she digs deep in regards to her violent childhood and her troubled relationship with her father. But for fans, the juiciest parts have to do with Mario Singer.
He cheated on the Real Housewives of New York star while they were filming the show together and he often bragged about cheating and not getting caught. While Ramona and her Real Housewives co-stars thought he was joking, it turns out that he had been seeing a much younger woman behind her back. Now, she is opening up about her relationship with him today and it isn’t pretty.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New York star reveals that Mario isn’t the man she once married. Things have changed so much between them that she barely recognizes him. She has said that Mario became “a different person” towards the end of their marriage.
“There would be moments where he would be very warm and loving, and then other moments that he was really vicious and mean, and would bully me,” the Real Housewives star reveals, adding, “It was like, ‘who are you?’ It was scary, it was very scary.”
For a while, he really wanted his wife back. But she had troubles forgiving him. Ramona felt betrayed and wanted to move on. She speculates that he felt intimated by dating a celebrity after The Real Housewives of New York started doing so well. Instead of fully supporting his wife, Mario decided to focus on his own needs. And while he could be begging for her to come back, this Real Housewives star has no plans of reconciling.
“I don’t recognize who he is today. That’s the only way I can heal with it, because when he’s across from me, he’s not the man that he was two years ago,” Singer explains, adding, “He completely changed.”
According to the Inquisitr , Singer has been recounting some painful memories for her book. She reveals she learned about the affair from a friend. The Real Housewives of New York star realized that he had been talking to someone behind her back and when she confronted him about the affair, he came clean. Avery learned about the affair after she overheard a conversation and she later blamed her father for ruining the family.
