‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Week 5 Veto Results, Austin Matelson Steals A Kiss In ‘BB17’ House

Big Brother 17 spoilers are led by the Week 5 Veto results. There are other BB17 spoilers, though, as Austin Matelson made a few waves with Liz Nolan. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the nominations and Battle of the Block have already taken place, with Jackie Ibarra getting removed as one of the HOHs. On Saturday (July 25) the Veto competition took place, and a report from fan site Big Brother Network has provided the results.

With Vanessa Rousso left as the sole HOH, it means that Clay Honeycutt and Becky Burgess remained the nominees for eviction. It meant both had to play hard at the Veto competition to possibly save themselves. It worked out very well for the power alliance, as Clay won the Veto, giving himself the power to step off the block. When Clay uses the Veto on himself Monday afternoon (July 27), Vanessa will have to come up with a replacement nominee.

The current Big Brother 17 spoilers point toward Austin Matelson being the “backdoor” target now, as he has created a number of rifts inside the house. While a lot could change over the next 48 hours, Austin trying to concoct a scheme to first get Julia Nolan into the BB17 house, and then evicted in Week 6 will be used against him. It’s not something that has gone over well with Liz Nolan, making his advances even more off-putting recently.

As another report from Big Brother Network showed, Austin Matelson tried to steal a kiss from Liz Nolan. While the pair was lying in bed early Saturday morning, Austin put on the moves. He first started stroking Liz’s face, and then pulled her in for a kiss. While she didn’t stop the kiss from happening, she immediately said, “Uhh, I haaaaate yooouuuuu. You’re so annoying.” She then pushed him away and continued doing so as he tried to wrap his arms around her. Later she would say, “What am I going to do? You didn’t even do it under the covers.”

It has been clear for a while that Liz and Julia are trying to play the “showmance” card with Austin in order to keep his protection in the house. Despite the obvious threat that he is to Julia, the twins are sure that they can continue playing Austin to get themselves further in the game. Will it work? It has so far.

The next installment of Big Brother 17 spoilers could come on Monday when the Veto ceremony takes place, but it might happen even sooner if Vanessa Rousso decides to target someone other than Austin Matelson. Either way, it is looking like Becky Burgess should survive to see another week in the BB17 house.
