Louis Tomlinson Breaks Twitter Silence, Luke Hemmings And Ashton Irwin Share Thoughts About 1D Baby
Louis Tomlinson still hasn’t spoken out about the baby he’s having with Briana Jungwirth, but One Direction fans will be relieved that the singer finally broke his Twitter silence.
After giving fans a little time to recover from the baby news, Louis used the social media site to let Directioners know just how much he appreciates their love and support.
Louis Tomlinson’s tweets were a celebration of his band’s five-year anniversary. That’s right — it’s been half a decade since the group was formed on the UK version of The X-Factor. A lot has changed for the band during this time, but the biggest changes came in recent months with Zayn Malik’s defection from the group and the announcement that Louis will soon be a dad. At least Louis’ fans can take comfort in knowing that he doesn’t take them for granted after five years of fame.

According to the Daily Mail, Louis Tomlinson has reassured Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan that he’s not going to ditch One Direction to become a full-time father. However, there’s a chance that the guys’ days as a boy band will already be over by the time Briana Jungwirth gives birth early next year. During an interview with the Sun, 1D boss Simon Cowell revealed that the boys will take a break after releasing their fifth album later this year. The break will give the singers plenty of time to pursue other projects, and they may decide not to reunite if one of them signs for something time-consuming like a movie.
“In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they’ll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision.”
The break will also give Louis plenty of time to bond with his new baby. As the Inquisitr previously reported, he’s already trying looking for a home in Los Angeles so that he can live closer to Briana Jungwirth and his child.
Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Liam Payne have remained mum about their bandmate’s baby news, but a few of Louis’ tourmates recently shared their thoughts about the future diaper changer. During an interview with MTV News, 5 Seconds of Summer singers Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin showed their support for Louis. However, they’re not offering up their babysitting services just yet.
Ashton Irwin called childbirth a “beautiful thing,” and Luke Hemmings revealed that he’s giving Louis Tomlinson a little time to recover from his big baby news before he gives his old tourmate a call.
“I haven’t spoken to him yet. I think I’m just letting him simmer, simmer down for a bit,” Luke said. “I don’t really know too many details about it, but I hope he’s happy. I hope it’s not too overwhelming for him and I hope he can continue banding.”
