Kailyn Lowry Fights With Jo Rivera In ‘Teen Mom 2’ Clip

Kailyn Lowry and her oldest son’s father, Jo Rivera, are seen at odds during a Teen Mom 2 Season 6 sneak peek. In the clip, shared by Us Weekly on July 23, Kailyn Lowry and her former boyfriend are seen having a tense argument with Rivera over their custody agreement.

Prior to their meeting, Kailyn Lowry filed for an amendment to their agreement which would better suit her busy school schedule. Unfortunately, Rivera was caught off-guard by the filing, and doesn’t understand why she didn’t come to him directly.

“I had to file. It’s just not worth it to fight with you. I can’t afford to miss classes to meet you for custody.”

According to Rivera, there’s no point in setting up another hearing when it won’t be seen for months, and he’s already planning to move closer to Lowry in the coming weeks. With him closer to her home, Rivera feels like things will be easier for Lowry, and claims any meeting before the move happens is “pointless.”

Not only will Rivera’s move allow him easier access to his son, it will also cut down on Kailyn Lowry’s commute time and lighten up her load when it comes to taking her son to his activities. Still, Lowry isn’t sold on the idea of Rivera moving closer.

“I really don’t want you to move to Dover. I believe he should be in one household during the week at school, whether you’re in Delaware or not.”

Kailyn Lowry claims its best for her son to be in one household during the week, rather than be back and forth between her home, with Javi Marroquin, and Rivera’s new home.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kailyn Lowry has also been at odds with Marroquin during Teen Mom 2 Season 6. However, despite talk of divorce throughout the season, Lowry and Marroquin have both spoken out, claiming their relationship lasted through the season, and is currently thriving.

Below is what Kailyn Lowry told Us Weekly earlier this month of her and Marroquin’s issues.

“Ultimately we made it through. I just think it was trying to get on the same parenting page with Lincoln, and Lincoln was probably only 6 months old [at the time], and I think it was easier for me to make friends in Delaware, because I would go to my breastfeeding support group, CrossFit, stuff like that. And for him, he’s at work all day.”
