Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 1 Coming to PC Early Next Month

If you thought that PlayStation 3 gamers had it bad when it came to getting Modern Warfare 3 DLC, the PC crowd has had it far worse. Seeing as Call of Duty Elite is still unavailable on the platform, PC gamers haven’t had access to any of Modern Warfare 3‘s post-release DLC.

While Call of Duty Elite is still missing in action on PC with no word on when it will be made available, Activision has finally decided to throw the PC crowd a bone–Modern Warfare 3‘s “Content Collection #1” DLC will be available on the platform early next month.

Starting May 8, PC gamers will be able to download Modern Warfare 3‘s first bundle of DLC, which saw its release on PlayStation 3 earlier this month, and on Xbox 360 a month before that. Content Collection #1 adds four new multiplayer maps for use in competitive and survival modes: “Piazza,” “Liberation,” “Overwatch” and “Black Box.” Additionally, the DLC adds in two all-new “Spec Ops” missions, titled “Black Ice” and “Negotiator.”

Modern Warfare 3‘s Content Collection #1 DLC costs $15 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so PC gamers can presumably expect to pay the same amount–Activision hasn’t confirmed the price, so we can’t be sure.

To see what you’ll be able to get out of the Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 DLC, you can check out a preview video below that Activision showed off earlier in the year.

Are you still playing Modern Warfare 3 on the PC, or have you moved on to something else?
