Brad Pitt Tattoo Honors Angelina & Kids: Jolie & Pitt Accept Daughter Shiloh As John, Refuse ‘Trans Kid’ Label
Brad Pitt is sporting a tattoo that honors his wife, Angelina Jolie, and his doted-upon children. For Brad, that symbol, combining a cross with his family members’ initials, gives the actor the chance to display just how much Pitt loves them, reported People.
The tatto contains a cross with “A” for Angelina on one side and, on the other, “MPZSVK” for kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. Although he has had the emblem for awhile, Brad only displayed it recently when he devoted an hour to visiting Toys ‘R’ Us in southern California.

“They bought a whole bunch of Legos, slinkies and arts and crafts stuff,” revealed an insider. “[Pitt and Jolie] were excited about the toys their kids were looking at and had questions about them.”
And while Pitt has the newest tattoo in the family, Angelina also has one that displays Brad’s and her children’s birthplaces via map coordinates.
The actor and actress have been candid about their parenting practices. In particular, Pitt and Jolie revealed that their daughter, Shiloh, wants to be called John, reported the Telegraph.

It was Brad who shared that when he addressed his daughter by her given name, she would interrupt him and correct him.
“I’m John,” says Shiloh firmly.
Accordingly, the family uses that name, and Shiloh recently appeared at a film premiere wearing a formal suit and tie like her brothers, Maddox and Pax.
Angelina also talked about the issue.
“She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers,” said Jolie.
Some have questioned whether that means gender dysphoria, identity issues, or “tomboy” tendencies.

But as the Inquisitr reported, Angelina and Brad have been careful to avoid using labels such as “trans kid.” It was Amber Rose who used that term on social media, generating controversy.
When Amber saw photos of Angelina Jolie’s and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh looking boyish in a tux and short hair, she took to Instagram to reveal her positive views about what she thought was the family’s acceptance of a trans kid.
Rose also made it clear that she knew about Shiloh’s request to be called John, with which the parents complied.

But Amber quickly found herself the center of a controversial storm. While some praised her post, others accused her of bullying the child and family.
However, most have praised Brad and Angelina for allowing their daughter to choose her own course, reported the New Republic.
In particular, following the suicide of transgender teen Leelah Alcorn, there has been increased concern about what happens to transgender youths whose parents do not accept them.
Alcorn wrote a Tumblr post that appeared following her death, chronicling how her parents would not allow her to be a girl and tried to change her by taking her to Christian therapists.
“My death needs to mean something. My death needs to be counted in the number of transgender people who commit suicide this year. I want someone to look at that number and say ‘that’s f**ked up’ and fix it. Fix society. Please,” wrote Leelah.
