Alex Rodriguez Calls Cameron Diaz ‘An Amazing Light’ And George Clooney His ‘New Role Model’

Alex Rodriguez has racked up bonus points with women everywhere after his recent praises of ex-girlfriend and actress Cameron Diaz, in which A-Rod was quoted by The Insider in an interview, which will air Thursday night, having said:

“I don’t like talking about my relationships. But I will tell you about CD [Cameron Diaz]. She’s probably one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met, and just an amazing light.”

Rodriguez, the New York Yankees third baseman, is currently dating WWE Diva Torrie Wilson. After his six-year marriage to Cynthia ended back in 2008, Alexander doesn’t appear all too keen on the idea of tying the knot anytime soon as he was quoted by the NY Daily News having said:

“I’m not sure. I think my new hero is George Clooney. He’s my new role model. I think he’s done it right.”

A reference to the fact that one of the world’s most eligible bachelors, Clooney, has yet to tie the knot. George is currently dating Stacy Keibler, who is good friends with A-Rod’s current girlfriend Wilson.

Diaz and Rodriguez were in a relationship for 1 1/2 years. Their relationship ended last December.
