Caitlyn Jenner and Candis Cayne’s ESPY date has sparked rumors that the two popular transgender women are a couple, but now it seems that they are just simply friends. According to a report from Us Weekly, there is nothing going on between the two and a false article from Star magazine reportedly started the dating rumors.
Speaking on the matter, a source close to Candis Cayne gave the following statement.
“It was so ridiculous. What, is Candis suddenly a lesbian now? Candis is currently single but is only interested in men, and Caitlyn is a woman.”

Caitlyn Jenner was not only accompanied by her children to the 2015 ESPY Awards, she was also spotted next to Candis Cayne. It is widely known that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been spending a lot of time with the transgender actress lately, and rumors about a possible relationship between Caitlyn and Candis came to light after the two were seen together during the recent Gay Pride Parade in New York. Hollywood Life reports that they were inseparable during the event, and the pair also enjoyed a very romantic NYC weekend complete with spa treatments and a candlelight dinner.

So what is really going on between Caitlyn and Candis? The truth is that even if reports say they are a couple, the actress appears to be more of a mentor to the former Olympic athlete, who just received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY Awards.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn’s son, Brody Jenner, recently confirmed that Caitlyn is still attracted to women.
“Caitlyn likes women, obviously. It’s not like all of the sudden… she had babies and she created me,” Brody said during an interview with Sway Calloway. “Caitlyn likes women, so yeah, it wouldn’t be too hard to find a chick for Caitlyn.”

Although a possible romance between Caitlyn Jenner, 65, and Candis Cayne, 44, seems to be just a rumor, neither has publicly addressed the matter.
