One Direction Fans Beg Zayn Malik To Rejoin Band After Louis Tomlinson Baby News
One Direction’s fans were shocked yesterday after reports confirmed that singer Louis Tomlinson is expecting his first child with “very good friend” and stylist Briana Jungwirth. The fandom took to Twitter to express their feelings towards Tomlinson’s baby news, with most vocalizing their concerns regarding the future of One Direction.
As some One Direction fans worried that Tomlinson would leave the group following the birth of his child, others began trending the hashtag “#ZaynComeBackTo1D” on Twitter in the hopes that former member Zayn Malik would return to the group to help establish some normalcy for the fandom.
To make matters more interesting, Justin Bieber’s fans even got in on the fun as they managed to trend a similar topic of “#JustinBieberComeBackTo1D” on the social media site to suggest that Bieber should fill Malik’s place as the fifth member of One Direction, Hollywood Life reports.
One fan took to Twitter to write, “#ZaynComeBackTo1D Remember the time when you and the boys had fun together? @zaynmalik” alongside a photo of One Direction prior to Malik’s departure, while another fan adds, “#ZaynComeBackTo1D #Louis Tomlinson because apparently he’s going to be a dad.”
The news comes on the heels of reports that suggest Malik has reached out to his former One Direction bandmates after getting into an online spat with producer Naughty Boy earlier this week.
Malik took to Twitter on July 13 to shade the U.K producer for allegedly exploiting their musical relationship and leaking music video clips from his upcoming track, “No Type,” Billboard reports.
“@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we’re friends no one knows you.”
Malik then follows up his initial diss with, “Someone learned how to upload a video…maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain’t s*** but a faker.”
While Naughty Boy hasn’t directly responded to Malik’s diss, sources close to the former One Direction singer admit that Malik has reached out to his former bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Harry Styles for support after learning that Naughty Boy doesn’t have his best musical interest at heart.
A source tells Hollywood Life that Malik apologized directly to Tomlinson, who infamously engaged in a Twitter spat with the producer earlier this year.
“Zayn actually apologized to Louis for all the crap that went down. Zayn wanted to reach out and make sure they all knew he was still their brother.”
Meanwhile, One Direction fans continue to react to the news of Tomlinson’s baby news with Briana Jungwirth. A source close to the duo revealed to People Magazine that both Tomlinson and Jungwirth are excited about the pregnancy and are hoping to remain out of the spotlight until the child is born.
“Briana is staying away from home for the moment; she’s a private girl—she doesn’t even have any social media. Everyone’s hoping she can have a smooth pregnancy in peace. That’s the most important thing for everyone right now.”
