Perrie Edwards Says Sex With Zayn Malik Is Better Than Food, Throws Shade At One Direction Haters
Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik may have been blasted by One Direction fans for not calling off their engagement last week, but Edwards is proving she can throw a little shade at her haters as she gushes over her sex life with fiancé Malik.
In an interview with the Metro U.K., Edwards opens up about her intimate relationship with Malik after being asked to choose between having food and having sex, Mirror U.K. reports.
“I was asked what was better sex or food. I’m just saying I’m a lucky girl—it’s got to be sex hasn’t it?”
Edwards further gushed over her sex life with Malik, telling reporters that “even peanut-butter stacked cake with ice cream is not as good as sex.”
Perhaps Edwards has a good reason to gush over her future husband Zayn. Just prior to getting candid about their amazing sex life, Edwards told KISS FM that Malik had some big plans for her 22nd birthday on July 10.
“Zayn has a big surprise for me for my birthday. He’s sent me my outfit, he sent me my shoes and he’s sending a car so it’s all pretty exciting.”
In addition to celebrating Edwards’ birthday, Zayn and Perrie also made headlines earlier this week after reports confirmed that the duo purchased a $3 million mansion in London to call home.
According to sources close to Malik and Edwards, the six-bedroom estate will show fans “how serious they are” about proving their love for one another, Daily Mail reports. The couple has been more open about their relationship since Malik announced his departure from One Direction in March, where fans instantly blamed Edwards for splitting up the chart-topping group.
A source further explains that Edwards and Malik’s decision to purchase their first home together will shut down rumors of a split in the near future. The couple has been plagued with incessant breakup rumors since Zayn left One Direction, despite their nearly two-year engagement.
“This is a big statement by Perrie and Zayn. They’ve had to shoot down rumors of a split after his exit from the band and this is both of them showing everyone just how serious they are. They’re engaged and need somewhere they can both call home—and this house is it.”
One Direction fans took to Twitter earlier this week to trend the hashtag, “#CANCELYOURENGAGEMENTZAYN,” in the hopes of encouraging the solo artist to end his relationship with Edwards for good. While some fans pointed out that it was cruel to accuse Edwards of encouraging Malik to leave the band and continue to blast them on social media, Zayn eventually stepped in to throw his own shade at the breakup rumors.
Malik shared a shirtless selfie via the social media site, in which he squints at the camera before adding the caption, “Need the sunnies today,” leaving fans to interpret the message as Malik’s way of responding to his own fans’ shade.

While One Direction fans continue to boycott Malik and Edwards’ engagement, it appears the duo is finding their own subtle ways to throw shade at the breakup rumors.
