Ben Affleck has just ended his ten-year marriage to Daredevil co-star, Jennifer Garner.
The Washington Post has confirmed the truth surrounding rumors of Ben Affleck not wearing his wedding ring and other rumors that suggested that the couple were leading anything other than a picture-perfect life. The Oscar award-winning actor, writer, and director married Garner in 2005, and together they have three children. As of June 29, 2015, the power couple have officially split.
Fans of the power couple were distraught over the news and took to social media to express their love for the couple.

Ben Affleck, who shot to fame after he shared the Best Screenplay Oscar with good friend Matt Damon for the movie Good Will Hunting, has his fair share of relationship history with some of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities. Ben Affleck had a 7-year on-again, off-again relationship with his high school girlfriend, Cheyenne Rothman. Later, Ben hooked up with Gwyneth Paltrow, who was a very hot topic in showbiz at the time, having recently broken up with Brad Pitt. During their 2-year relationship, they were a very popular couple, but their wedding was postponed apparently due to extreme media attention. Finally, their relationship ended. In 2004, Ben Affleck started dating Jennifer Garner, and a year later, a baby girl was born. The couple were married in 2009, and they now have three children together.

Ben Affleck rose from being a nobody at the box-office and completely overshadowed by his personal life, to become one of Hollywood’s most influential actors in the movie industry today. Argo, the movie he directed, won the 2013 Oscar Award for Best Picture.
Ben Affleck’s marriage to Jennifer was his lifeline during those disappointing and turbulent years at the box office. With his career now in full-swing and his Batman v Superman movie due for release very soon, we hope that Ben and Jennifer’s split won’t do too much damage to his public image.
