There’s no doubt that Jennifer Lawrence was one of the most talked-about stars at San Diego Comic-Con. The blonde beauty made a splash in a black cutout dress that showed off her midriff and her backside.
Jennifer Lawrence drew crowds of thousands who attended the Comic-Con at the Grand Hilton Bayfront Hotel in San Diego, California, on Thursday, July 9. The actress was accompanied by her Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
Obviously enjoying the excitement of the annual comic book convention, the Oscar-winner couldn’t even contain her own excitement when she bumped into Bill Murray. During the panel for the upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Lawrence admitted that she was a bit of a fangirl when she met the Ghostbusters star for the first time.
“I’ve been a huge fan of Bill Murray for a really long time. I’ve kind of spoke to him through Woody [Harrelson]. I’ve sent emails to Woody, mostly when I was drunk, with things I wanted to say to Bill Murray.”

Lawrence also scolded Conan O’Brien, who moderated the panel. She corrected the nighttime talk show host on her weapon of choice on The Hunger Games. O’Brien said she spent months of training with a crossbow when actually, she uses a bow and arrow in the film.
“I didn’t spent months and months of training to be called a crossbower.”
The crowd, of course, erupted in applause. You can check out Jennifer Lawrence’s hilarious reaction to Conan O’Brien’s question in the full-length video below.
The actress not only reflected on the highly-successful Hunger Games franchise, but also to bid farewell to her character. In response to a fan question about what she learned about her experience, Lawrence revealed how it not only changed her life, but also her movie career.
“When I first signed onto these movies I was 20 and now I’m 24. I remember first feeling frustration about Katniss’s hesitation to be this hero. I remember reading it and wanting her to be excited to take this role… As I grew with her I realized how real and also powerful it was. Her hesitation to start this was because war doesn’t solve problems sometimes. And so, I can’t remember what your question was, but I remember thinking this could possibly answer it. So I hope that is in fact true.”
Jennifer received another question about what it’s like to say goodbye to her popular character, Katniss.
“I don’t feel like it’s happened yet. It’s still such a big part of my life. These movies really did change my life. The people who are in my life… you guys challenged me. I love you. I think that the changes that happened in my life are so permanent that I don’t think I’ll ever really say goodbye to her. She feels like she’s part of me.”
The panel also introduced a new teaser for the new film, which is scheduled for release in theaters across the nation on November 20. Jennifer Lawrence and some of the cast gave the three finger salute from The Hunger Games as they walked off the stage to more cheers from the crowd.
