Fifth Harmony Stop By The ‘Today Show’s’ Summer Concert Series, Rock Out With Harmonizers [Video]

The girls of Fifth Harmony have been all over the news lately, and now they’ve added another accomplishment to their list. In addition to lending their voices to the soundtrack of Hotel Transylvania 2, the girls also appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show and are currently on the road for their Reflection Tour. The girls also lent their pipes to the Season 20 Finale of Dancing With The Stars, as Inquisitr mentioned. Today.com got the goods on the Today Show concert, in which Fifth Harmony performed their dance-tastic hit “Worth It”, along with the girl power theme song “Bo$$” and finally, “Like Mariah.”

The concert was part of the Today Show‘s Summer Concert Series, which included other best-selling pop artists like Meghan Trainor and Imagine Dragons. The concerts take place in New York’s Rockefeller Plaza, and are free and open to the public.

Fifth Harmony also streamed their performance live via video sharing app Periscope. The quintet even had time to show Today Show anchor Hoda Kotb how to do their famous hair flip move. Fans came in large droves and some even slept on the street just to get a glimpse of their favorite girl group.

As Idolator mentioned, Fifth Harmony’s Reflection LP debuted in February and was produced by Epic Records. This summer saw their single “Worth It,” which is from Reflection, go multi-platinum. The girls thanked both their fans and the Today Show for the chance to appear in Rockefeller Plaza.

Fifth Harmony first came onto the public’s radar with their appearance on Simon Cowell’s talent-scout show The X-Factor. Though each girl auditioned individually, the ladies originally failed to make it into the next stage and were later formed into a group by Cowell himself. They are signed to Cowell’s label Syco Music.
