Rockstar Games Now Offering Online Vehicle Coupons For ‘GTA V’

With the addition of more high-end vehicles to Grand Theft Auto V thanks to this week’s new update and free DLC, Rockstar Games is giving gamers the chance to pick up some of GTA V’s most expensive cars at huge savings. Announcing the vehicle sales, the developer revealed that users can now pick up select vehicles in GTA V for the next week in celebration of the release of the “Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part 2.”

“To help get you into one of their new vehicles, the esteemed salesmen at Legendary Motorsport are offering a one-time 25% REBATE on your next qualifying purchase this week (July 8th – 15th).”

According to the Rockstar Newswire, players will need to join a Crew inside GTA Online as well as sign up to be on Rockstar Games’ mailing list in order to receive the in-game rebate coupon for Grand Theft Auto V. This will increase the number of GTA V players with a Rockstar Social Club account, so the developer is likely looking to increase community engagement.

“All you need to do to qualify for this special limited-time offer is have your email address registered and verified with the Rockstar Games Social Club, be a member of the Rockstar Games Mailing List and join a Crew. The cash from the Legendary Motorsport rebate will be deposited in your in-game Maze Bank account by Sunday, July 19th. To fulfill these requirements, login to your Social Club profile.”

Some of the newly added vehicles were introduced to GTA V as part of this week’s launch of the second part of the “Ill-Gotten Gains” DLC. As reported by the Inquisitr, the game’s latest update adds several expensive cars that carry hefty price tags, so the rebate offer could help some to afford the new vehicles.

In addition to the new add-on content, the “Ill-Gotten Gains: Part Two” DLC was also launched alongside the release of Grand Theft Auto V’s Title Update 1.28. While the new patch addressed numerous existing issues, it seems that the update also caused a few problems of its own.

After hearing reports from players that they are missing vehicles after applying this week’s new GTA V update, the Rockstar Support team confirmed that some may have experienced an issue where their garages become rearranged. As a result, those with multiple properties might need to check all of their garages in order to locate specific vehicles.

“We have found that some players’ garages may have been rearranged after updating to 1.28. If you think a vehicle is missing, try calling your mechanic and scrolling through your various garages to see if the vehicle was moved to another location erroneously.”
